A Short Break away on Bolette

Back in July we took a trip on MS Bolette from Liverpool. It was only a short 5 day cruise but long enough to re-charge the batteries a bit. Portland was our first port of call. I'd wanted to photograph Portland Bill again, having done it a few years ago with f4 Photographic, my camera club. A short trip by coach took us there and we had a good walk around and then headed back to the ship. In the afternoon, we took the shuttle bus to Weymouth and had a great walk around the harbour and sat to watch the world go by for a while.

The second port of call was Honfleur and I thought we'd been there before but I didn't recognise it so can only assume I was mistaken. We had a great walk around the harbour and streets before heading back to the ship for an afternoon trip to a quaint little French village called Beuvron-en-Auge, part of the Cider Route in the Pays D'Auge area. A lot of the property there is half timbered and made for a pleasant and interesting trip.

That evening we left France to make our way back to the UK. A short but unexpectedly good mini-cruise. Here's some pictures.
