Beverley Food and Drink Festival 2013

We went to look at the Beverley Food and Drink Festival this morning. We enjoyed the first Cottingham one a couple of weeks ago so thought we’d enjoy Beverley as well. We did!

There were around 100 stalls full of locally produced goods, a marquee for demonstrations by local chefs, there was music, street entertainers and lots to eat. We went early in order to avoid the queues – a good job really because by lunchtime it was heaving.

The last one, Black pudding, poached egg and bacon was made by Tina Cerutti of Cerutti 2, one of our favourite places to eat.

Sue has taken up Zumba and we saw a demonstration by the lady who runs the class she goes to in Cottingham – looks a bit energetic for me – but what do you think?
