Christmas in Grasmere
We spent a few days across Christmas at The Wordsworth Hotel, Grasmere and thoroughly enjoyed the break. Nothing too serious in terms of walking but we went round Grasmere and Rydal Water just to keep the cobwebs at bay. There was a distinct difference in the days, firstly sun and lots of cloud and then mist and greyness. Still, that didn’t stop the annual duck race – I think mine is still swimming….
