Grasmere

Just got back from a great break in Grasmere. We wanted to get away to do some Autumnal type shots but the tail end of the hurricane Gonzalo put paid to the thought of taking my full kit out in the wet.

As it was, we had quite decent weather although awfully windy on Tuesday afternoon as we did 5 miles around Grasmere and Rydal water. Monday was favourites for me – I had wanted to go up to Easedale Tarn for a while. The route takes you past Sourmilk Ghyll and it was picture perfect with some sun and some large clouds.

Can’t wait to get up there again.
