Sue and I went to Prague last month and despite a number of hiccups with both travel and personal belongings, we had a great time. We went with long time buddies Doug & Anna Thurlow and Tony and Anita Trotman-Beasty – I used to work with both the guys in bands over a number of years.
Over a 4 day period we managed to get round most of the major touristy bits but we need to go back to see the rest – it’s just a lovely City and one of the best breaks I’ve had. Despite there being 6 of us, we managed to do things together and separately without any hassle, using the hop-on hop-off bus, public transport and our feet. It’s a compact place with lovely buildings, great open squares and a superb cafe culture. Here’s a number of images from the trip.
