HCLFC Reserves vs Newcastle Ladies Reserves 14/1/24

The first game of the year for me and I was with the Reserves team at North Cave Playing Fields. A very cold day, bright, with little wind and thankfully no rain. The opposition today were top of the league and unbeaten so it was going to be a tough match. Great goals from Lauren Wentworth and Lily Scott gave us a 1st half lead and although the match seemed fairly evenly balanced for a while, Newcastle proved too strong and eventually we lost 4 - 2.

Well played though Ladies - let's look forward to next week!
