Every time we've been to Madeira Juan Caldarado and his band have been playing in the street. I don't know how many years they've been there but they draw a large audience in the cafes around them. It's a shady area to sit and have a coffee or lunch and provides welcome relief from direct sunlight. This year I took more pictures than usual hoping to send some off to him to say thank you for his music.
