Over the past couple of years I have been participating in both FIAP and PSA international photographic salons in order to gain distinctions offered. Last week I received a double celebration. I have been awarded EPSA ("Excellence" Photographic Society of America) from the PSA and AFIAP ("Artist" - FEDERATION INTERNATIONALE DE L’ART PHOTOGRAPHIQUE) from FIAP.
The rules for attaining these distinctions are on the websites of the PSA and FIAP so I won't explain them here, but in short, you have to have received a set number of acceptances in photographic salons with a set number of images (other rules apply as well). The whole process requires a degree of record keeping and accuracy and I have been tested in this regard. However, let's see if we can carry on to reach the next level - Onwards and upwards!
