A home match for us this week at the North Cave Playing Fields. The weather wasn't very kind, it was raining and there was a bone-chilling easterly wind blowing. John kindly put up a shelter for me to stand under to get some partial respite.
We quickly went 2 goals up with strokes from Lily Scott & Lauren Wentworth but Halifax pulled one back. We managed to get another from the boot of Amy Drury and enjoyed a comfortable half-time lead. The second half was a pretty much one sided affair and 3-1 becamse the Magnificent 7 - 1 with further goals from Rosie Caley, TJ Cockburn, another from Lauren Wentworth and the final one from Jessie Shipley who also claims the award for celebration of the week. Well played girls.
