After a long period of missed outings, my photobuddy Pete and I finally managed to organise a day out. The choice was bird photography - an event that Pete found on FB.
There were a number of birds on display, all owls, which was a bit of a let down, we wanted to see some falcons or hawks but the recent hot weather would have made it quite unpleasant for them, added to which they'd only flown the evening before so weren't ready to fly. Maybe next time. Thanks to Jed Wee and Mandy who handled the birds.
Anyway, we got a good selection of images from a number of different sites and finished off with a decent pint at The White Bear in Masham.
